ISL is predestined to go places, and this gets now compared to the other prestigious leagues like the ENGLISH PREMIERE LEAGUE or the SPANISH PRIMERA.

A brief about ISL

As per the report of isl 2018-19 schedule, the ISL 2018-19 starting date has get announced. ISL Season 5 is scheduled to start from September 29 at the Salt Lake Stadium. The first match will be played between two-time champions ATK (Athletico De Kolkata) and Kerala Blasters. Indian Super League is the initiative, taken by the Football Sports Development, in order to change the entire phase and face of football in India and bring a revolution in that field.

This Football Sports Development is initially headed by Mrs. Nita Ambani, and this specific league is expected to grow from strengths to strengths. There are ten participating teams from 10 different regions of India mostly owned by the poster boys of India. The ISL Teams and their Owners

Goalkeeper Paul Rachubka, defender Lalruatthara, midfielder Ajith Sivana, and Arata Izumi, and center forward Dimitar Berbatov has stolen the limelight.

  1. Inigo Calderon (Chennayin FC)

The 35-year-old Spanish defender, who is the youth idol of the Alaves academy and has played almost 200 games for the present Premier League side Brighton and Hove Albion during their times in the Football League and the Championship, is an absolute first choice captain for the former Champions Chennayin FC. Calderon has started his career with Alicante in the Spanish third tier, returned to Alaves and spent two years at the club, making 52 appearances. Along with his, the player to watch out for in this season is none other than goalkeeper Karanjit Singh. And as a midfielder, Anirudh Thapa will be the name. And the best players for forwarding will be definitely Baoringdao Bodo and Gregory Nelson.

  1. Pritam Kotal (Delhi Dynamos)

The Dynamos had the mediocre preseason as they managed to win only one game out of five during the tour of Spain and Qatar, failing to win the single game in Spain. The side from a capital looks to be all set to be led by national team defender Pritam Kotal.
